The protocol's modern flagship is Fusion mode: intent-based swaps where professional market makers ('resolvers') compete to fill your order off-chain, giving you MEV protection and gasless execution — you sign, they settle. The 1inch Limit Order Protocol and RabbitHole front-running protection round out a suite that has expanded to include a self-custodial mobile wallet and a developer API powering many wallets' swap features.

The 1INCH token governs the DAO and captures staking utility. 1inch is the default choice for size-sensitive EVM traders; smaller swaps on cheap chains may find the aggregation edge less meaningful, and the team has at times drawn criticism for token value-capture design.
